It is a personal project that already runs for one person; the marginal cost of another account is a few megabytes. Market data is shared in memory, so users are cheap — it is the data that costs, not the people.
If it ever grows enough to need paying for, accounts that already exist keep working and you will hear about it well before anything changes.
No card, no trial that turns into a subscription, no upsell, and no selling your data — there is nothing to sell. Your email exists so you can log in, and your trades exist so the app can show them back to you.
